How minutes are counted
Livqeno counts usage on its own servers. Your app never reports it.
- RTC minutes
- Every participant’s time in a call. One person in a room for one minute is one minute.
- Audio-only
- A minute is audio-only when nobody else in the room is sending video.
- Full HD
- A minute is Full HD when the video that participant receives adds up to more than 1280×720.
- Viewer minutes
- Real-time viewers are counted once a minute. HLS viewers are counted from the SDK player’s heartbeat while the video is playing.
- Host, encode and recording minutes
- Measured exactly, by Livqeno’s servers.
Good to know
Calls are never cut off
Set a monthly spend cap if you like. Once it is reached, new sessions are refused, but calls already in progress keep going.
How you pay
USD accounts pay by card through Stripe. INR accounts get a payable invoice link each month through Razorpay: UPI, cards or netbanking.

Do I need a card to start?
No. The Free plan needs no card. It comes with one-time allowances of 10,000 RTC minutes, 100 live host-hours and 100K chat messages.
What happens when I use more than my plan includes?
On a paid plan, the free amounts are included every month and usage past them is billed per 1,000 minutes or messages at the prices above.
Do the Startup and Growth fees buy anything?
Both fees come back as usage credit. Startup is $49 / ₹2,999 a month and Growth is $499 / ₹39,999 a month. Growth also takes 15% off all usage.
Will a spend cap end a live call?
No. Live calls are never cut off by the spend cap. It only stops new sessions from starting once the month reaches it.
What limits does the Free plan have for live streams?
One live stream at a time, up to 100 viewers per stream and 4 hours per stream.
